Allan Schmidt and Julie Thomas are the owners and operators of Dare to Dream Performance Horses, Located in Stem, NC. They specialize in the training and showing of Paint and Quarter horses for western pleasure, hunter under saddle, all around events, fitting of halter horses, and also futurity horses.
Allan Schmidt has been training pleasure horses for over 10 years. He has been under the guidance of numerous reputable AQHA and APHA trainers and judges. He is also a corrective shoeing farrier and works on all the horses here at Dare to Dream Performance Horses.

Julie Thomas has been training pleasure horses for 5 years. She trained and showed under the guidance of AQHA/APHA judge, Rhonda Replogle, as a youth.
Allan and Julie have achieved multiple World and Reserve World Champions, Honor Roll Champions, Top 20 All Around awards, and futurity winners. We strongly believe in providing a family friendly atmosphere. Successfully competing at the highest level while maintaining a fun loving attitude, is our number one goal.
